The Kenya Climate Change Working Group, for the purpose of responding to climate change problems and needs in all sectors of Kenya, was organized into 8 thematic groups that bring together all the major sectors of Kenya’s socio-economic development. These are;

i. The Water Thematic group
ii. The Energy Thematic group
iii. The Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries thematic group
iv. The Tourism, Trade and Industry thematic group
v. The Conservation, Pastrolisim and Conflict over Natural Resources Thematic group
vi. The Health thematic group
vii. The Forestry thematic group
viii. The Urbanization, Housing and Infrastructure thematic group and
ix. The Education Thematic group
